High modulus carbon fiber and resin designed for use in the aerospace industry and an infusion process provide consistent, void-free parts for optimal visual quality and mechanical strength.
Double reinforced bonding and low density, rigid foam core sandwich structure reduce weight and increase strength. MarQuipt Carbon Fiber Sea Stairs are ideal for yachts that prefer the ease of light weight handling and the eye catching appearance of high quality carbon fiber. Standard finish is an “ornate” clear coat with UV protection and custom fiber colors and patterns are also available.
“Previous carbon fiber stair products are very expensive and require more than 3 months production time, however, our design and production process contain costs and reduce delivery times to between 4-8 weeks. Also our Carbon Fiber Sea Stairs are about 40% the weight of previous aluminum stairs and may be retrofitted to existing MarQuipt brackets installed on yachts.” says MarQuipt President, Garnett Byrd.
